Garrett 5x8 coil

I bought a coil off eBay, "new" ... It looks used and it doesn't have any paperwork. All of my other Garrett gear has come with warranty paperwork.

Have any of you ever bought a this coil and it didn't come with paperwork or am I getting the run around from this ebay seller?

I know. This guys an @$$. I mean, it's dented, scratched and had dirt on it. No box, no paperwork, nothing. He says it's new ... I don't know what I'm going to do. We did PayPal too thank goodness! His English is bad too ... Ugh.

I'm just seeing is anyone had EVER bought a NEW Garrett item with no box / paperwork, etc.

Bordallo is the parent company and it looks like they are an authorized dealer from looking on the bounty hunter, tesaro, teknetics, fisher and garrett websites. The eBay username is the owners name. Not sure though what happened can you post some pics and I'll do the same when mine comes in.

I'll take a look when I get home as the pics are a little small on my phone. I'll compare mine when I get it tomorrow, in the mean time I'd call Garrett and see what they say about the seller and the paperwork issue.

Heysenn - Based on his feedback - he seems like a reliable seller. I looked him up and he sold 17 of those puppies so far and his feedback on that listing appears to be good. I wonder if someone screwed up and sent a returned coil vs. a new one? Anyway, did you send him your pictures? If you did and he still won't correct the problem I would send a e-mail (attach pictures) to Garrett (see below) and explain what happened. I have actually read threads that show Garrett pulling sales authorization from dealers for problems. Let us know how it goes...

We're going to contact Garrett and send the pics to the eBay guy. I hope it's just a mistake. We'll let you guys know how it goes.

Got my package today. No issues here, coil and cover look great and new. Came in bubble wrap with receipt. Sorry that happened but no issues with mine. I'll be testing it out this weekend at the beach so I'll let you know how it works. Best of luck!

Okay. So we contacted Garrett, sent them pictures and the coil is USED. They are sending us a brand new one and will be paying for us to return this used one the eBay guy sent us back to Garrett, not the eBay guy. Thanks for help guys!!
