I was looking for a hardcase for a Minelab Explorer SE I recently bought. I travel most of the year, so wanted something durable. I went to a few places and looked on-line but couldn't find anything I liked. The ones in the detector stores were pretty flimsy and expensive. I figured I would take a look at the cases while out at Guitar Center, thinking guitar or keyboard hardcase. I ended up finding one that was much better.

Its a SKB Case. Model # is SKB40098P. It's designed to hold Bose L1 speakers. Price $179.00
I also bought a piece of foam while there for packing the detector in.

Sorry about the quality of my pictures. Taken on my phone with lousy light.

I think you got a couple of great pictures from a cellphone camera. Great idea about the guitar or keyboard case. :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright: :headbang:
I have a carrying bag that's a back pack type set up I got from AZ Outback. I still need to get a case for my Sd2200v2. :help: Thanks for posting the pictures.
