Would be my artifact if it is not natural, quartz, found in the gravel beach in the stream behind my house NH. It looks like it might have some chipping, but it is so small it is kind of hard to tell. The edges and tip are very sharp, the tip is very thin rather than very pointy. One photos of the side view, and one of it from the base.

Ok, Thanks for the help! I am going to go back to the creek behind my house and try again in the gravel piles tomorrow.
 

Quartz is real hard for me to tell unless you just find 1 that is no doubt. It will fracture in creeks naturally very easy. Ive managed to find 16 points made from quartz this year that I consider frame worthy so they are out there. Hope you find 1, rock
 

Just a quartz rock. Don't look for pointed shapes as much as for signs of being worked.
