Not sure how many pages it would take me to tell you all how much I've been doing the last 5 months or so.But I've been busy to say the least.Just not been on here like I use to be with all that's been going on.Kinda miss hanging out on here with you guy's.So anyway I do still make time to get out & do my thing from time to time.Today I wrestled home a man killer of a find the mill stone I've found four others & they are going to be a beast to get cause there even bigger & in the middle of nowhere.Takes boat,truck,trailer,& lots of a$$ to get them home. Also have been doing very well in the native american artifacts as well.Have found quite a few more indian pipes stems & really amazed of how many different shapes they made & used really neat stuff to me.You can see others I've found in this post..........................http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/north-american-artifacts/322866-years.html

Wow you been really busy, done some big time cleaning up I would say. You got some great finds there.I don't know much about points and pipes but I really think they are awesome. Good luck on the other mill stones looking forward to seeing your post when they make the journey home with you. HH.

So if you've found multiple grinding stones then it sounds to me like there should be a mill around somewhere unless someone else just liked to collect grinding stones. I mill should be a busy site with customers and farmers with grain coming and going, horse and buggy coming and going rate though. Don't bust yourself up getting those critters home and once home are they for sale or for show? Good luck with other finds in the area like a very rare configuration canning jar full of silver dollars!.....................63bkpkr

Those are awesome native american pipe stems. I've found a number of reddish -brown ones in the pits I dig, but those are domestically made by the early settlers. Even at my tidal creek front site where I've found more than 1,000 pieces of Indian pottery I still haven't found the first pipe part. Nice going on those, and I really like that mill stone too.

Those mill stones are worth going after. Had a friend that recovered them from creeks and did very well Millstones and syrup kettles for use in landscaping, gradens and architectural design I always enjoy looking at them on this site. You have been a busy guy and finding some nice things. Glad to see you posting again.

Thanks there TNM,cool site. Mine is 30 inches wide 10 inches thick with a spanish cross eye socket looks to me like it's made from basalt........which may make it a little rarer.....basalt - Google Search
So I'm guessing somewhere in the $2500 - $3,500 range.Makes my back hurt a little less. These two are simular.......
