Went out with a buddy today to clear the outskirts of a Roman settlement. We did pretty well! We stumbled over some Roman change. These tiny ones are hard to get and very rarely come in ok condition. IDed as: "Tetricus I and Tetricus II barbs, with Reverses attempting to be Hilaritas, Laetitia and Salus'' Thanks to Cru and Crudad!
A Roman spike coming from
was in the pouch too.
Other finds were the usual trash, lead, some interesting musket balls coming from a "Dornbüchse" where the bullet was compressed over a mandrel by the ramrod to put it tight against the rifles, piece of scrap silver, parasol fitting....
I had a great day! Thanks for looking guys!
