Steve of PA shot me se info on a park that he thought had some good wooded area potential. We both did some research and narrowed down an access point that was near 3 or 4 dots on our favorite 1800's map.

3 of the 4 sites were way too trashy, but one deeper in the woods started showing some potential the further we went. (I like hunting when my detector is mostly silent... then a nice juicy high tone vs. constant chatter from trash.) My first good tone was a silver dollar tone at 2", but no overload signal so not a beer can.
Dug the hole and a silver dollar sized disk, but really light, Whiskey Spinner Token.
It has the Pittsburgh Pirates 1950 home schedule on the back and a little nub that acts like a tip when spun.
Found a couple smooth aluminum "tokens" guessing they were printed vs stamped and some wheats. Then we finally found the cellar hole through the brush.
I found another token, James Polk Presidential Token.
.
And my oldest item, a tombac button.
Here is my total take for this site. There has to be some silver coins, 1800's coppers and other bucket listers at this site, oh I'll let the Master share his finds when he finishes his clean up.
Good luck out there!
