I noticed there are a lot of shafts and handles made of carbon fiber but not one scoop made of carbon fiber. Any one have any thoughts on this or an equivalent light weight, rust proof scoop I can use for beach and water?

I have a Coob scoop that has a 35mm or 1.35" diameter opening. I am looking for something that is strong (preferably carbon Fiber) to use as a shaft without needing to buy a new scoop. Thanks Mike
