Wife and I hit the beach for 2 hours today at low tide ... Plenty of trash and a couple of small 925 silver trinkets. Disappointed by one -- initially thought it to be gold, as it has gold look, but shes got a 925 stamp on it.

Wow, at least you can be comforted in that you had a great day out and cleaned the beach of all those nasty nails someone could have gotten hurt by. I'm impressed how you captured some very tiny pieces. What scoop do you use?

I use the Diamond scoop from Nuttall ... Modified it slightly with a thin screen in the bottom and back corner for those smallies and a magnet to catch the skinny iron.
