1st time out this season. Wife and I took a long drive to check some areas. Lots and lots of corn stubble. Finally around lunch time we came upon a sorta half a$$ed bush-hogged corn field that was tolerable for an hour and a half before the 85 degree sun chased us out. Not much, a few odds and ends not worth posting. But I did get this cut pistareen. I didnt have my camera so had to walk over to my wife with the dirt clod for a pic. Just got done cleaning it up. Not too bad. It was dark before the cleaning.

Seriously. Youre the only one i know of from your area that has done so well on cobs. But then again I havent heard of too many finding the cut pieces there either.

Nice. Well done.

Sweet find, congrats! :occasion14:

Yeah it seems like the earlier sites(pre 1720), when I can find them(not often), have the silver but anything later and its copper time. State Coppers and such and Capped bust silver is nearly non existent as well
