I went to about 10 banks today looking for halves and most had none or just a few. One bank had 1 and it it was a 67 so that was nice. 2 banks had a large amount, $90 at one and $335 bag at another. Not sure if the bag came off their coin machine or what but I wanted it lol. They wanted to charge me 10% since I wasn't a member, so I just set up an account so I wouldn't get charged.

The $90 produced no silver, but the bag produced 4 Bens, 5- 64 Kennedys, 1- 67, and 1 Walker. Walker is super worn, but I believe it's 1919.

So that was a productive bag and pretty exciting, and just wanted to share! Happy hunting!

Thats awesome! Takes some dedication to hit up 10 banks in one day.

Very nice! I'll set up a lot of accounts if each one will produce like that.

Nicely done ! Really nice score for the amount searched .

That's a great bag! I'd ask if they have bags of quarters or dimes too

Get in good standing with the tellers & and it might pay off, BIG TIME.

I went to another branch of the same bank yesterday and asked if they would be willing to sell bags off their coin machine when they are full and the teller said they could do that for me. I said whether it takes a year or whatever I'll still take it. So he took my information and will call when it's full and he offered to email the other branches so I could also buy their bags once full too.

So that was nice of him. I think I should still stop by the other branches to confirm they will do that for me though. 2 of the other branches are in supermarkets, and I know one has a counter right in the lobby. I only asked to buy the halves though, not sure if it would be worth the time going through other denominations
