Hello friends! :hello:
Today I went out hunting for six hours with good weather, and started a large new field with findings from medieval times to the 19th century.
This field is very little pollution and full of pottery of all ages, I found an Medieval painted ornament with a blue cross and a silver medal, also coins usual.....and a good coin to 1615. :hello2:
sorry for the annoying line of photos, I shredded the glass of the camera.
Greetings to everyone.

Seeing these finds make me want to pack my gear, get on a flight to Andorra and join you for some quality detecting! Lovely finds! ;D
Your country is very close to mine, and here we also visit many Swedes each summer ..... I have a Spanish friend that even married a Swedish. :D
So if you want to spend a summer with us this is the perfect place, but bring sunscreen for the sun. :laughing7:
Welcome to the forum....

Looks a good bunch of finds.

What is the date on the pendant (can't make up my mind)? :icon_scratch:
Hello CRU.
If you mean to photo number 9, is a silver medal of the Virgin of Montserrat (Virgin Mary) 19th century, the first years of 20th century.
H

I was wondering, modern in an early style :icon_thumright: (or was it early :icon_scratch: :D :icon_thumright:)
Wondered the same ;D
Beautiful Finds, Love the (alabaster?) Dog :hello:

Hello Herbie !
The Dog made in the Fine Porcelain ,the first years of 20th century..... nice figurine.
I like to show these things for people to see that in these fields there are things all ages ,not just Medieval. Walking in here you can find a porcelain figure of 20th century next to a Medieval buckle or snail petrified over millions of years..... is a very fun game. :D

Great finds! Are those lead spindle whorls? HH, Mike

Great results from your new field! I like the silver pendant. At first I thought it was the queen of Spain until you identified it as the Virgin Mary. I also like that 1615 silver coin - I like the image of the king with his ruffled collar :laughing7:

These coins reveal many secrets hidden in them.
Kings and emperors of my country in the 17th century, did not want to be represented with the crown, for many reasons, most importantly, they felt like ordinary citizens (with the great task of expanding the empire) and the crown was only reserved people little austere kings .
The neck ruffled were prohibited by King Felipe IV, that was a garment useless and too expensive for the state. (then fell into disuse and became fashionable straight collar shirt .
The first is when they were fashionable curly ruffled collars and the second straight neck, which came out cheaper because less material is needed and manufacturing was faster.
These two different types of collars, we help to identify the Kings when the dates are erased or covered.
