Hello Tnet, I started this spot last Sunday and got the 1863 IH and the fat old ring... well, got out there again today for an hour before it got dark.. I wasn't planning on hunting until tomorrow but my flight made it in on time around 2, got home and hit the road by 3 and after the 45 minute drive made it to the site with a peck of daylight left 
I stepped out of the car, dug a piece of can slaw and my next target roughly 3 minutes after arrival was this very early Navy button. I don't know what it is with this field but again, another beautiful find thats toast 
.... My pard got an eagle button that has a bunch of the gold gilt left too.. I know the pictures aren't the best, but if you look at the middle right part of the button you can see the anchor and a broken outline of the eagle still remains. We'll be back out there tomorrow so hopefully something thats not toast turns up
