Well, I took about 3 weeks off of detecting due to family duties and other commitments. This morning has been my first real chance to get out so I hit a local beach. Started out real slow and wasn't getting much at all in the knee to waist deep water so I moved out to about chest deep and started getting signals. Some crusty clad came first and then a banging signal that sounded like a pair of sunglasses. Up came a bangle bracelet and I thought no way this thing is gold! Then I saw the stamp 10K!! Didn't feel all that heavy at the time but weighs in at a fat 11.6 grams!! After that a few coins here and there then a real faint signal that I kept loosing through the scoop. Almost gave up on it but I'm glad I didn't! Nice little 10K stud earing with 16 diamond chips! A few other misc. jewelry pieces and then an earing that has that look. Sure enough I get home and check it and stamped 10K "Jessica" hoop earing! All in all, a very nice hunt!! Hope all of you have been doing well!

Nice heavy collection..... To nasty to hunt around me right now. Was you using the Xcal? was just curious.... those gold studs are hard to come by. Sometimes its a good thing to take some time off.
