10 Bank Road Trip... OK result

Took a road trip to my son's Scout Camp & hit 10 bank on the way. Here are the results:
Bank 1: $10 Halves: skunk
Bank 2: $40 Halves: skunk
Bank 3: $290 Halves: 11 40%ers
Bank 4: $40 Halves: 1 40%
Bank 5: $15 Halves: skunk
Bank 6: $15 Halves: skunk
Bank 7: $10 Halves: skunk
Bank 8: 60 Halves: skunk
Bank 9: $190 Halves: skunk
Bank 10: $100 Halves: skunk

Overall, pulled a dozen 40%ers... Not too bad.
In general, do you all do better w/ CWRs or boxes? My best score was with a box so far. Hopin for a good box or 2 on Thurs!

Awesome score, those 12 silvers are always nice. Personally, I do not to road trips, sometimes I will visit a bank and ask for halves, but never a road trip. Not too many banks in my area. My best score was a half dollar box with 61 silvers in it. I don't think I will ever get that again, but you never know.

Whenever I am in the grocery store, I ask for halves at the bank there, they usually do not have any, but last trip to the grocery store, I asked and got a 1969d. Can't hurt to ask, but I do not do enough volume in CWR at banks to have a say in which is better. hh!
