I looked it up and there were 11 million 1976-S 40% silver quarters minted....

Did you get a whole bunch of silver proof bicentennials in rolls, or do you think 65-70 quarters are also 40%?

I have been told that 65-70 Quarters are 40% Silver and also Bicentennial Quarters were 40%...but I am thinking only the S mint marked Bicentennial Quarters are 40%. Can anyone verify this for me?

65-70 quarters are not silver. Some S mint bicentennials are silver.

The last circulated silver quarters ended in 1964. There were bicentennial 40%'s issued, but they weren't especially popular and I think they'd be rare to find in circulation and probably only worth melt in that condition.
