Hi all,

OK its an attention grabber but on the 8th of October the new $ hundred dollar bill will be released and many will have very low serial number that can be worth more than the bill itself...

New $100 Bills Worth up to $15,000 - ABC News

So aside from the lower number bills there is also what is called the fancy and ladder serial numbers.

Other types of "fancy" numbers are highly sought after. These include "ladders," which have their numbers in sequence (e.g., 87654321), "repeaters," which have two sets of the same four digits (e.g., 41124112), and "solids," which have eight of the same digit (e.g., 44444444).

http://coolserialnumbers.com/ is another good site to check out serial numbers.

Just an FYI for all collectors out there....

While you are spreading the news do you mind telling the forum all your best places to hunt? GPS coordinates preferable :)
