🏆 HONORABLE MENTION 10k GOLD CLASS RING , ( update ) RETURNED TODAY !!!!!

I decided to hunt a school that I had never hunted before . I found the best find of the three hour hunt in the first 30 minutes ! I had a +26 VDI on my Whites M6 at 5 inches and thought maybe gold ? I was right !! I saw a beautiful gold ring at the very bottom of the hole . I didn't know it was a class ring till I popped it out of it's dirt cocoon . It has a full name on the inside and as I type this up already have a lead on the owner . If it's the right person she is just up the street from my Parents , only a couple of miles from me ! Total clad for three hours is $14.34 !
I'll hope to have it back to her by tonight ! I'll keep you all posted .

that's a super find. hope you can return it. sure seems pointless for anyone in your area to ever buy a ring.... all they are gonna do is lose it. it's crazy how many rings you've turned up this year alone

Thanks ! I don't see myself finding as many next year . I will need to go to locations farther away from home and wait for my local schools to fill up again .

That's fantastic! Funny how a class ring as recent as 1999 can make it that deep so soon. I bet she will be so happy to get it back. I think my class ring is at the bottom of the Alabama river when my girlfriend threw it.

I love the colour of the gold on that beauty!

That ring was 5" down and is dated 1999, that thing sunk down really fast!
I'm sure the owner will be very happy to see it again!

I park in the school parking lot . Only had one person in 14 years say something to me . Only one city here in my area that does not allow digging so I just don't go .

My Wife has located the owner !!! She found her on Facebook . I'm hoping to talk to her tonight and set up a time when I can give her ring back . She remember the school that she had lost it at and that's where I found it . I will get picture of her with the ring and post it .
It will be an early Christmas surprise .

I don't know . I do know that my garbage pouch is full to the brim at the end of three hours . That one gold makes it worth every piece of trash ! .
