10K GOLD RING TODAY , Ring #27

pl8man · Apr 5, 2014

Got out today after lunch with my son Carson and hunted a local school that has a few treasures still

. After a good two hours and one wheat cent , 1947 , and some clad I got a sweet +16 at 4 inches . As I pulled back the dirt out popped gold ! It's ring #27 for the year and it's 10K gold class ring from 1981 .It weighs 5.4 grams . I'm going to try and track down the owner , I'll keep you all posted ! :headbang:

When my Daughter was 3 years old she would go out with me and hunt . She thought money came from the ground :laughing7:

. Now she is 17 and just wants the rings :laughing7:

Congrats on another sweet ring Glen. You're tearing it up out there in sunny Calif.
I can't make out the high school name. Was it a San Jose area school?
I still haven't dug a class ring.
Well done,
Doug

No is gone . As a license plate collector it would have been a sweet find if it were complete .
