Went out today by an old house and found 2 standing liberty half dollars 3 barber quarters 5 mercury dimes 1 barber dime. I only been at this for about 4 months and I think this will be hard to beat.

they were all in a 5 foot radius so the clothesline sounds right to me. and only 2-3 inches deep.

I'm beside myself if I find two silvers in a day. Good going. One time I thought I'd found three silvers in a little neat stack, under the dry moss on a drained lake bed, but two turned out to be clad, and that's the closest I've come to more than two silvers in a day.
