Good job on getting out. I still get a cheap thrill diggin wheaties, I've been out a couple times in Dec too, was out on the 13th and dug a wheat in the city park hoping for an IH.
Here today on the 15th it was 55 out in the am, wish I'd had the day off to go dig ffd
