The lower rod on the fisher 1270 is almost impossible to adjust, the clamping ring seems to be working fine. I think the plastic lower rod is out of round, I can feel two ridges where the mold lines are. I don't think the mold was closing properly and left it slightly oval shaped. I can probably take a file to it and work it down, but it going to look bad. Anyone else having this problem and what did you do to correct it.
