14k eagle ring

I went back to my honey hole where I found the 1858 half dollar.....just dug up this 14k gold ring with eagle with a diamond in it's claws... A little more than 10 grams

Great ring! Not to split hairs, but I wonder if that’s a falcon, or hawk?
It has the appearance of a raptor to me. I realize eagles can be used in the sport as well. Just a thought, if you are looking into the design.👍🏼

It was worth $600.00 in scrap. The onyx on mine was shattered so It wasn't worth anything except scrap gold price.
