Hi;

Got back to where I dug last weekend and continued working outward. Found a suspender buckle with "France" on the outside and some additional wording underneath but the grunge obscures the underside. Dug four eagle shield coats with three being blank back and one a Waterbury Button Co bm. Found two cartridge cases but don't know if they are period or hunter drops, the back of the cases measure 16mm. Found four civilian buttons, one of them being from a five star hotel ;D. Also dug two keyholes, two horse tacks, a grommet, and some type of heavy buckle that is curved and at one time had a center pin in it. Found another brass nail. Also found some pottery among all the oyster shell spread throuhout the area. I have not found one single bullet drop yet which I find sort of unusual. I also found a few other items not shown here that I will be posting in the "what is it" forum.

Your "bullet casing" looks like a brass shotshell, very high on my want to dig list. Nice finds.
