I've had a jar of coins sitting in my closet for 15 or so years. Been through a couple moves, lost and then found again. It contains mostly halves (round 40), a few varieties of dollar coins, etc. After reading up on TN forums, I decided to give them a look-see with my 9 year old Son. Wadda ya know...we found two .40 halves (66,69) and a couple wheats. My Son spent the next hour checking every coin he could find in the house ... lol. Appears I'm gonna have to make a trip to the bank(s) :)

Welcome aboard. I used to hang out some in Corpus Christi and Port A. Good finds with your son. Treasure hunting is always fun.

I love corpus and port A, great red snapper and drum fishing off the coast there. Fantastic sandbars too right off the shore, you can fish between them and catch all kinds of things. I used to live pretty close to there
