1600s buckle sportsman button and other relics

Finally got to do some digging this weekend at 2 early homesites that have been productive in the past Had some nice relics pop up including my first Sportsman button . 1600s buckle and many other nice period relics. Both sites are pretty clear with little trash which is always welcome

Wow! I wish I had some old (& clean) sites to search! Nothing that old in the midwest, tho. Not much that's clean either- I can attest to that!

A single 17th century spur buckle is a good day in my book. Digging complete specimens doesn't happen every day.

Not seen a Buckle with a Crown on it before.

I like those Hunts Buttons, most are circa 1850s.
