1600's Indian Gun Parts and More

We almost got to 60 degrees today and felt the itch. I was able to get back at the 1650's site today. This place seems to just keep going and going.....
Copper ketal points, brass slag? Copper ketal chips, some kind of brass bent thing? Now I'm into gun parts and a trigger! I just don't know whats next! Dug another 100+ holes today and didn't show trash! Not bad for a 2 hour hunt!
Everything is copper, brass, lead or iron. Everything is found on private land wit permission.
Dig it all and take the trash!

Well it hate to tell ya partner... Our town was founded in 1818, you got me by a year!! This area is like a time warp in history The time layers over Lap. It's crazy to find nice arrow head and dig a large cent feet apart ! DIG EVERYTHING

Nice stuff. The bent up brass thing is probably what's left of the musical instrument called a "Jew's harp".

That's a great eye on the harp! I've found them before but not on this site! Thinking of making a display necklace from the beads I found last season,theirs got to be close to a 100!
