All Treasure Hunting
There's a very lengthy watershed near me that is fed by numerous tributaries. That's where I found this beast yesterday. Not just this one actually, there's more. I loaded the ATV down!

I seriously doubt anyone here would take me up on that...
I doubt anyone will pay spot on what is essentially a 17 pound rock,as it sits right now. An assay that determines the percent of silver content,if any, gives a solid datum to determine value and how much someone would want to pay.Spot is for pure refined silver. When considering buying your rock refining costs would have to be subtracted from the spot value.Shipping costs, any other expenses would be deducted from spot value, making your specimen,as is,a poor investment to buy at spot price.

The way it works is first you buy the Charter Membership, then you can buy and sell.I don,t make the rules you understand, but there they are. The forum rules are at the head of nearly every forum, along with a reminder to read the rules.

Nice finds SnowdogAk20. Next time - maybe you could take a picture further away so we can get a better idea of the size. Thanks for sharing...

Good idea. I would like the idea of the size. They actually may be worth more as specimens than ore. "Ore" won't bring as much as refined metal. Mineral specimens can be a lot more than spot metals price. PLUS there is probably some gold in there, if silver, maybe cobalt or other minerals.

I'm currently working with a big Canadian refiner, I will let you know. However previous shipment is A + for Ag. I'll share pics later...
With the loaded down ATV load you'll have a sizeable grub stake - Then again there's the "However" previous shipment A+
Looking forward to more pictures-of what?
Hope it's the assay report on this piece(s)

you really think I would skip the $20? If someone says yay, I pay we roll...
By that statement is when somebody steps up to the plate you'll pony up the $20
So it's a backdoor way of try to flog the piece without paying for the membership
Personally that's not right either
Can't be saying you're a cheapskate either as there's no name calling allowed

Smokey makes a good point !!
