maybe a mckee boat....not sure on that one....there were many that worked those wrecks. Plantation key was ground zero for mckee and many others in those days.....got to be 20-30 years before my time !! Very cool pic.

What do you want to know about it ? ? ?

This is from the Art McKee collection... 1956... October.

Although that is not Art in the picture.

It was taken at the "1st treasure museum dock". (per a note that was attached to that photo when it was acquired by the State)

IMO... was a guy delivering TO Art.

This is one of many that the state owns from Art's collection.

Hey Bart... on a sidenote... you may like this pic that Art had done using Xray of conglomerate.

Notice anything in the picture that SPIKES your interest ? ? ?

AARC- "Attachments aren't valid" on the images.

Looks like some cobbs and a "crown" or hinge below the pair of cobbs for starters.
Here's a minor challenge for you- What type of buckle is that towards the top?

What do you think that cannon weighs?

I believe that boat had a glass bottom viewing panel. People could watch as art and others dove and fed the fish while they worked the capitana. Pretty sure I read that somewhere ??

Correct... Art and his wife Gay would take people on "glass bottom boat" rides. :)
