sweet button, HMN.
those early military buttons have eluded me this year.
can't wait to see your year end post.
i know i've said it before, but it's going to be ridiculous! :headbang:

Detected before hummm.....show them how it's done Dave. :headbang: ;D Like the buttons man & seems to be some early finds around that place. :icon_pirat:
Take Care,
Pete, :hello:

That's a great hunt!!

very nice ancient House and finds ...especially the buckle .

great finds, I miss doing home sites, i need to start knocking on doors.

Sweet dig man, if you pulled that much after it's already been detected I'd bet there's more to find! Might be worth doing a pattern, wouldn't be surprised if a half Reale came outta there.

I recovered a Tom Mix Braclet in May 2010... Its a girls premium from Ralston...

Few keepers there, Nice BIG crotal. I'd take that.

You did better than I again today, no coppers for me.

Hope their wrong on the 10 inches.

You need a wheelbarrow. I suspect the solider is WWI German. I love it when there is still paint. Could that be "Prussian Blue" on his trousers? The Spainsh/American and WWI US are sometimes a little deceptive. It is hard to tell if it is a SA "smokey bear" hat or a doughboy's helmet. Look closely at the uniform and see if anything looks familiar from photos of the period. If you like lead soliders, that is. I love finding them.

This would be my fav of the day, they rarely come whole from ploughed land. The buckle is on an equal as well :headbang:

Awesome Buckle, Great button, Love the barrel tap
Congrats on another hunt

Nice finds as usual! The early Navy button appears to be Albert's NA 81 Bv. All are nice finds for sure!

That is one nice naval button. Excellent condition if I do say so myself.

Maybe Crusader could guess if it is British Cavalry or not. There is the little emblem on the hat, but probably has no detail. Besides I think UK, French and German all used variation of the "target" circle thing. May not know for sure unless someone knows for sure that the Germans didn't have short swords, or something like that.
