That is one fine medal. Wonder what it is worth. Excellent find!

PBK, you are remarkable. I looked at the site and as usual, you came through.

Thanks to the both of you, nice find and nice resarch!

Thank's for your comments tim, some times you are lucky with how they come out , have a look at this my detecting partner found two weeks ago, and it's been in the ground over 1600 years ;)

Well done on another cracking find, or in this case not cracked at all.

You seem to be going from good site to good site at the moment.

Can't wait to see what you get after the Harvest.

Never had a medal older than 1870s, never knew they existed in the 18th century, until now.

Keep Rolling, must be due for a bad patch;-)

Got me wishing I lived in the UK....Nice finds....I'm happy when I find a bottle cap.... ;D

What an interesting find. :)

WTG !!!!!!

Geez, you guys find some incredible stuff across the pond. I'm always drooling at those old dates you come up with. Amazing. Thanks for sharing.

"Money Mafia" is jealous of your hunting grounds! Those 1,600 year old Roman coins make our 1790s Large cents look like toilet paper. :'(

Awesome looking Medal, Congrats!!!
According to the link PBK provided, it seems to have a pretty good motto for a detectorist on it as well...
Nullum Non Movebo Lapidem ut illud adipiscar
"I will leave no stone unmoved to obtain it", pretty neat...
Continued Good luck, & Happy hunting~

P.S.> detectorist (<-Spell Checker doesn't like that word, maybe they should think about addding it to their vocabulary) ;D

That is one nice find...........1740's ... Now thats not hard to take! WTG
