Nice save! Congrats!

Nice. I have two half reals that were made into cufflinks, then put back into circulation. I have one other that still has the shank. You have to wonder what caused then to spend their cufflinks :laughing7:

Is this the same site where I recently made this comment?
When you're digging buttons like that, King Georgies and silvery Spanish are usually not far behind.

Very nice find! :occasion14:

Very cool! Congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Same site. First couple hunts with the Equinox picked up mostly plain tombacs so was thinking they didn’t have much money. Last couple hunts with the Deus picked up large quantity and variety of buckle fragments and buttons so more wealthier than first thought.

There ya go. I have one of those which was put back into circ, dated 1747. :headbang:

Cool find!!!

That's amazing Great display piece.

Nice to get a early bucketlister but once again I have little luck when it comes to dates/condition on my Spanish silvers. I can see one used as a button wearing down fast though. Probably why the shank side is in better condition

That is one cool coin! The fact that it was used as button makes it even cooler!

Mine isn't any better.

Now that is very cool, I've not seen that one, much, maybe once?

You're killing it with Spanish! Congrats on your first milled.

Thanks. Ive gotten 6 milled bust style(1773-1821) since last year. This is my first pillar and globes(1733-1773) ever. This was Spanish #12 for the year. Been a good year.
