Picked up a really cool lot from a local estate lady that I have developed a good relationship with and got a very nice lot of US and foreign coins. Included in the lot were an 1875cc 20 cent piece and an 1803 large cent amongst many other really cool semi key dates and cool coins.

I bought the lot under the assumption that this was fake because it just looked to nice to be 250 years old. My LCS guy who is very knowledgeable says it's real, but I'd figured I'd post for your review.

For reference there were a few very old coins so it does fit in with the lot, thanks in advance for any opinions!

Thats A Great Looking coin!

Not seeing any red flags. Did you check the weight?

Looks like a high quality 1763 (not '65). If so, it is unusual in that it's the only one in that series (1761-1771) that weighs under 27.0 grams; 26.62 to be exact. The composition of silver, however, remained the same: .9027
Great save !!
Don.......

Thanks guys...yes def. a 1763 sorry for the typo. Not sure what to do with it, will likely add to the stash for my little one, unless something irresistible comes along. Any idea of value?

NGC gives a value of $100 in very good condition and $200 in very fine condition. That coin certainly seems to be in extremely good shape even with how old it is!

nice score --but the 1875 cc 20 center is the real prize ...

Thanks, this is from the same estate lady as the black powder stuff

she's getting some goodies then..

Congrats, that is a nice 8 Reale! It appears to me that it would grade EF-45 and might go as high as AU and should be worth $300+ but probably less than $400 due to the differences in toning (not much on the Reverse and darker & broken on the Obverse due to a portion of the coin being probably covered and protected by another coin).

Wow and I bought he whole lot for $300 with both the 20 center and the reale kept along with a few other really good key and semi key dates!

Check that 1803. One variety is worth quite a bit

The cc twenty cent piece in circulated condition ranges from around $350-$1200

We need to see pics of all the other coins. Major score!!

Here are some of the other coins I got in this lot. I sold a number of the other coins including the 1803 cent for $300 making everything pictures and a number of silver foreign and U.S. Common stuff. This was the best of the bunch...and all for free!ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1427176761.570687.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1427176801.786721.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1427176817.574307.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1427176831.639383.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1427176843.791472.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1427176857.633363.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1427176871.765037.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1427176886.294189.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1427176921.918654.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1427176963.956222.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1427176984.071789.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1427176995.003238.webp
