Ok, Newbie alert here guys.

My uncle recomended that you gents would help me with this. I have done a little research and found that this is most likely a replica, we just want confirmation.

1776 Massachusetts Pine Copper

Yep, replica for sure, but if you read the history of it and other MA coinage you'll get something out of it! :thumbsup:

It is a great history lesson for sure. 3 coins were originally designed, all credited to Paul Revere.
If you look close, yours should likely read "copy" somewhere in the circle. Still a cool find.

I'm not sure, but is very modern, so probably in the last 25 years.

A friend of mine is from Maine, she says they still make them and sell them to tourist in souvenir shops.
