Went detecting the past 2 days and this morning.

Today was at a permission I got invited to. This was my friends 7th time back and the place has been done hard, but I pulled out an 1803 Draped bust on the 2nd hole dug. 1st hole was an ox knob. The coin rang up 25/27 on my equinox 600 and the ox knob a bouncy 22 to 27. we stayed for about 2 hours but didnt find much else except for cow and tree tags.

Yesterday did some exploring with 2 friends and we saw some suspect areas and we crossed a river to get to an old road and followed it to two cellars. A barn and a home as well as a few squares.

The going was slow at first, so after about an hour i decided to hit the road that went up hill. I got a loud 25 and 3 inches down I pull out a green coin. I wipe it and saw the chain and nearly fell over, knowing exactly what it was. The reverse is super crunchy and I dont think it can be saved. I see a little of the rays and part of the sundial. The front is a little better. Almost the whole chain is visible and the "ONE" in 'We are one" in the center is mostly visible. Im so stoked about finding my first 1700s US coinage as well as it being a FUGIO!

I headed toward the lodge and then along the edge of the road. I nabbed 3 silver coins, part of a hair pin? with a 925 stamp and stone, a 1929 Buff and also a foreign coin with a 1953 date.

The quarter rang up 30/31
The dimes 26/29

The small pendant type item of the man holding a bat looks very similar to the images found on cricket buckles , they are very collectable here in Australia,
here's a link to a page of what they look like

Now we're metal detecting. Super job.:occasion14:

The hatpin knob looks like amber. You should have it checked. Amber is very easily damaged. Great finds! Congrats
