1793 LARGE CENT?

[Don In South Jersey]

This past weekend I found this & it is so much thicker than any other coin I have found so I thought it was a slug. After cleaning, I could see the strawberry leaf at the bottom or some type of 3 leaved leaf, so I am thinking this may be that coin. I can't see a date, so I am guessing about the year...

Very rare coin of, The United States Of America. Definitely deserves being on the honor roll of digging in the USA/treasurenet, its just one of those dream come true coins, no matter what shape... BANNER... Art

I just recently got "the red book of coins". I don't know squat about coins and didn't even know there was such a thing as a flowing hair coin until I got the red book. I personally think she looks like an evil witch, but I'd be kissin her all day If I ever found one.

Without a doubt that is a Banner coin. That is at the top of my list, just below a NE or Willow Tree silver and a Higley Copper. Huge congrats and I can't wait to see what you post next.
