Please take some better pics

Post the side that counts because I am pretty sure that is not a 1793 flowing hair reverse.

Great find - looking forward to better pictures! Thanks for sharing...

the pics are a little too dark to see, I would love to see it

Yep! That Reverse was not used until 1805 (1804 if you count the Unofficial Restrike). Leaves pointing upwards 1804 (Official Strike) and before and leaves pointing downwards 1805 and later.

Very dark pic can't see it..

Need to put a little more light on that one!

Any old cents are nice finds, congrats!

It looks like a Classic Head or newer reverse to me also. (I lightened it up a little.)

Better pics and of both sides

As stated, with the bar under the "one cent" it can't be 1793..........

Whatever year it turns out to be [through a careful and close up study of your coin] it is a very cool find. Congratulations. You rock Cowboye!

how deep, do you think it should've been?

I agree with MichiganMan, this is a really nice find! Why some get soooo caught up in the minutia. :dontknow:

Nice find and thanks for taking the time to share!

Nice LC man! A lot of the local hunters in my neck of the woods call them " swamp dollars". Don't know why, but it stuck with me as well :dontknow: Anyways, the one you found is in great shape. Most of the ones you find down here are eat up so bad your'e lucky to get a date off it. Congrats!

Sorry to disappoint you, but it is certainly not a 1793. It's still a LC and always nice to find one.
