Have been hitting an old colonial field with super sandy soil the last few trips and the finds havn't been a ton but they are quality. A george I farthing popped up as well as a Charles or William on the last trip as well as a liberty cap half cent by my brother. A good amount of buttons, some soild cast have also been found. This was the last target of the day and a real treat. Big thick american copper! You can see the die crack across the "7" that indicates S-44. The farmer was cut harrowing it to seed it so the days are numbered there. Hopefully 1 more trip is possible.

We would be out there with our headlamps and working day and night till we had to leave. That is an awesome coin you have. Congrats on some great finds!!!!
