The other two large cents are toast....pewter spoon handle, Gilt and cuff buttons, and other stuff

Sent from my SCH-S738C using TreasureNet in the middle of a field somewhere

Wow! Great finds man.. cant beat 3 LCs in day

That site sure sounds promising. Congrats on finding a Liberty Cap!

nice finds! would love to find any LC ... good luck finding more!

nice finds - congrats - still looking for my first liberty cap but did find large cent yesterday Metal Detecting

Awesome, love the coppers!

Way to go, Gary! I find LC's at a rate of one a year. Three in one day is amazing. Were they on the Sullivan Trail? Last fall I found three Indian Head pennies under one rock! All 1864- 2 were copper, and one was bronze.

teknetics power!! great finds!!

Love finding large cents. Still waiting to break into the 1700s. Have one that could be but no date. Nice finds!

Yes they were found on the Sullivan Trail .
Five mile from Montour Falls or Catherine`s Town that Sullivan`s men wiped out in 1779.
In a corn field 1 mile from my house.
Three 1864 Indian Heads in one spot is a good hunt in anyone`s book
Gary

Ya i love the Teknetics Detectors...picks up tiny cuff buttons @ 8" easily,LCs much deeper

Way to go Gary. Haven't heard that much about the new little Teknetics yet. Sounds like a pretty hot little machine to be preset on the GB. That is the kind of hunt that gets the ole heart pumpin. :laughing7:

That 1796 is an awesome find Gary ! Those don't show up all that often - A real piece of early American coin history there .
