Decided to get out today. I just had that "feeling". It was a short hunt (only 2 hours), but it yielded my best large cent to date. A beautiful 1798 Draped Bust. Pictures don't do this coin justice. Beautiful shape. The woods just keep on producing. Copper #16 on the season.

Nice Largie. The 1798's always seem to come out pretty well. Good dig and welcome to t-net.

If you want to check out some more go to our website, www.fortbedfordmetaldetectors.com and look under Largies and Coppers.

These are only some of the ones we have found.

WOW :o !! congrats ! Banner coin.

Beautiful coin, homerun. Nice work.

A couple years ago I found a nice higher grade 1798 LC deep in the woods at an old Boyscout camp area. It is now a modern day campsite. BTW, today I found a nice 1945 Walking Liberty half dollar in EF-40 condition. A nice find indeed. I'm going to make jewelry with it by buying a sterling silver bezel & chain for it and will wear it around to show off yet another terrific coin I found. BTW, I found it using a Garrett GTI1500.

Awesome large cent!! Hope ya get many more in that shape.
