This is my 4th and oldest. Normally it’s not caked. I started on the reverse with a toothpick then was able to know where to look for the date. I used toothpicks and a lot of patience

VERY nice find For some reason the fact that it s an even 1800 makes it a little more special

Nice cleaning job. Have you applied a light coat of renaissance wax with a gentle rub?
It's all preference, but I think it brings out more details and makes old coppers look better.
