OK Noa Ken! I was just looking for some input from people on this site. I was not trying to get made fun of! I thought getting advice on what you post on this site would be positive, but I guess it's just a big joke, just like my 1922 silver dollar! I agree with everyone here that this is a replica, but it has been fired before. Maybe it was modified? I don't know. I just post what I find. I don't bash anyone else who posts what they have found. One thing I do know is that none of you have no comments on the Germany shot glasses from the Holocaust!

Oh Red but some non shoot able it is hoped repro's do have grooved cylinders now.

I was talking about real revolvers buddy. The only real revolver I know of that had any type of grooves in the cylinder is the webley fosbery .455 autorevolver.

Red James cash, that reply wasn't directed to you at all. I understand what you were saying and I do appreciate the information. Sorry for the confusion bud.

Red My point being, the replica's have slots.I understand your statement clear as a bell.
damien I did not see your glasses but had an uncle take some off a table of S.S..
Edges are poor on most but mattered little to him.
All right found your post. His were nowhere near, they were like small champagne glasses with less stem and only marked S.S. from what I remember. A relative took them to a roadshow kind of event. No huge panic over value.

I know we are never to question the authenticity of a members finds per Tnet rules. But you did ask what we think. I have worked in and around the gun business a big part of my life. The gun is a toy. It may have been fired if you include caps. I see no possible way that a person could confuse it with a real gun while holding it unless they have no working knowledge of firearms. I think (per your request) that we all will be better served to move on and let this dog sleep. HH
