1804 Half Cent and 1797 Large Cent yesterday!

Got permission to do a small 3 acre field after work. I only had an hour so I had the ATPro at full speed. I got my first Half Cent (1804), my oldest US coin a 1797 LC!, and a flat button. I will be going back to that field again. Thanks for looking and HH!

It looks like it was in a fire. I tried to do a peroxide bath on half the coin with the date out of the peroxide and it just looked black afterward. Very weird that all you can make out is the date?

What did they come up as on the at pro?

The LC was 78-82 at 8 inches and the half was on edge at 6 inches so it was a consistent high tone but with breaks of silence on about every third swing.
