1802 draped bust and mystery find

Got out today for the third day in a row. Great weather and enough hits to keep me going. Finally a copper I can see the date on. Does anyone know what the bent piece with the head on it is? Seems like I have seen it before, but can't remember what it was. Good luck to all. Art

Don't know about the bent piece but the Draped Bust is 1802, there is no 1809 DB.

Nice digs trapper. Damn I sure would like to swing my coil over that coin.

Congratz on a great coin!

looks like a once plated tie clip..a simple guess...nice digs

Congrats on some really nice finds.
I guessing that the "Bent Piece" is part of a hat pin ?

Great coin and buttons!

Could that bent piece be a kids ring that is a one size fits all? Just a guess and very nice old finds there.

Killer finds man that's a great coin
Love the buttons too hh gl

Looks to be part of a sword belt hanger.
