Great find ! but that's no "piece of eight " that sir , is the whole enchilada ! namely -eight reales . Argentium.

Some very cool finds. I like all of them. Not sure if you know but the spoon is neoclassical 1740-1810,& sometimes have been thought to be used for powder scoops when found with items like you have found together. Most the spoon parts & whole one's I have are older pewter trifids, dog nose, & mid rib,but still to find one in that shape & era it's a cool find.Without a doubt the other finds are great as well.
Take Care,
Pete,:hello:

Hi, Thanks your right of course. I always think of them as pieces of 8 for some reason. J

Man CD you knocked it out of the park, what awesome finds. You have yourself on a good site there keep digging the next thing you know you will be posting pix of a gold spade guinea.

Thanks Man! 14 years and more treasure than I can remember and I have never found 1 single gold coin. I like to feel I am going to find them all at once!
