Hello I found this about a week ago.It was 3 inches down in a field. This is the best LCI have ever found. My buddy is a dealer and graded it about VF30-35.This is in great shape for a Turban head because the 1808-14 had less copper and made them wear easier making this a rare find in this condition.VF20 lists for 600 and Au40 for 1700.Thanks for looking it might be hard to see in the pictures but it has a full liberty and all details.

That is a sweet Large Cent! Nice find!

That's a nice coin :icon_thumleft:

Sweet looking LC, but don't get your hopes up too much on the grading. Once you send it out you may be dissapointed to learn what the grading companies have to say. The 1797 in the banner is a good example. I was talking to the finder of that coin and he was very disappointed when he heard what Heritage Auctions had to say.

It is still an amazing find, especially being a Classic Head! Grading only means something if you plan on selling it.

Like Neil says, grading companies can be unforgiving to dug coins. Yours is nice and probably doesn't need the nod by the graders. Put it in a nice holder and then start admiring it!

Beautiful coin! Similar to what others have said, the price guides are for problem-free non dug coins. I certainly wouldn't mind digging one of those everyday!

Great looking Large cent!

Nice one and your quite right  most 1813's are found in worn, poor condition . Congrats 8) dawg
