Awesome looking LC- Congrats! I'm hearing lots of excellent things about the Deus II- been a Minelab hunter most of my life but am contemplating a little experimentation. I'm getting old, maybe a little change would be worth it?!
Just looking around and saw this, I’ve had my DEUS II 6+ months and my friend hunts with ML 800, around old homesites I walk circles around him. Yesterday we went to some houses being torn down in Charlotte (not too old) and I got 4 Quarters 6-7 Dimes, 8 wheats and 15 pennies and a silver quarter.
We were hunting side by side same area.. he got no quarters, 4 dimes, maybe 2 wheats and maybe 5-6 pennies.. he just looks for higher tone targets… me too in a place like that.. but considering what I got, I can’t see it as just me hunting better than him.. DEUS II will pull coins next to iron nails and separates targets better than any machine I’ve used (30 years hunting)

Deus II vs Nox 800 isn't exactly an "apples to apples" comparison. At twice the price, wouldn't you expect the Deus to be better? I would... Plenty of comparison posts and videos on the internet. Each machine has it's own target demographic.

No way is it twice the price. Not even close. If someone pays twice the amount of money for the Deus ll than the NOX 800 they got taken. You can find a new Deus ll with all the bells a whistles for around $1,300 or less.

I'll admit I didn't spend much time doing a price compare. Prices I saw in my (very little) research showed the Deus at $1,599 and the Nox800 at $1000. Clearly not twice the price, but still a significant price difference.
