1819 MATRON HEAD LC & SILVER

got out for a hunt with Forino & Sniffy.ticks were unbelievable at this one site.look down 20 all over pant legs.I snapped a pic of a cluster sitting on a barberry branch just waiting for a victim to latch onto.I hate these things. :BangHead:

must have burned 100 today alone on my pants.
got a wasted 1819 matron head large cent,a 1950 silver rosie,a bridle rosette and a button & boy did those large tent grommets sound nice $:-\$

Wear some good repellent, looks like a nice interesting day of hunting, rock wall is very rustic looking.

at ticks.......place looks very similar to where Lost Hunter and I detect in PA......ticks and all.....must be 4 or 5 acres of those stone fences where we hunt.....

BUGS, I HATE BUGS. Went to a park yesterday and found 70 coins ,no silver, but i did manage to get Sun Burn. Bug Spray n Suntan lotion are in line

Very small pot is it silver? Could be a candle holder? Your in an interesting area I would bet if you can find a game trail close by leading away from there and search anywhere from 50 to 100 yards away you may find some real interesting finds. Especially if those stone walls pre date the 1800,s when Native Americans would have been raiding and killing settlers they would toss anything they didnt value along the trail back to their village, such as money which they had no use for. Silver and gold they would bury usually in the same areas if they hit the same location and killed the new settlers off.
Ticks suck literally, if find one attached to your skin get a cotton ball out drop liquid soap on the cotton ball and apply to tick the tick will release into the cotton ball.
