Went mding this mourning for a little bit and got a 1822 large cent and a top of a old purse. Then I went bottle digging. Just when you think you seen it all I find a bottle with a 1939 receipt " 10/13/1939 for $2.13 and article about red army ?BER 19, 1939. The paper had 2 ear rings in it.( I dropped one darn it) and a un opened perfume bottle.(forgot to put it in pic but in big shot.) all finds in this post and next one accept purse and coin from the dump. The toy was neat.

That time capsule is a very unique thing to find! Might be the first one I've seen on TN. Large cent is awesome! Nice finds!

First time capsule I've seen. Congrats on the sweet digs. Large coppers always make for a great day. I have detected around old schools for time capsules to no avail.

Very cool find! See if you can go back and get that earring!! It'd be a shame to lose that.

I nominated this for banner. How cool is an actual time capsule found!

How great of a day!!! A good looking largie plus some great bottles!!!! The one with the receipt and stuff is totally awesome!!!

On September 18, 1939, Russia invaded Poland.
Maybe it was a some young woman with communist leanings that became disenchanted with the party.
What was the receipt for?
That is one really cool mini-time capsule, I keep that in a special place on my shelf!

UH OH NOW YOU REALLY DONE SOMETHING WRONG ,BY FINDING BRUCE , KATE, JENNERS STASH / POCKET BOOK PLUS HIS ASSORTMENT OF MAKEUP JARS AND BOTTLES AND TO TOP IT OFF IT WAS A TIME CAPSULE WITH HIS EARRINGS AND QUICK CHANGE OF IDENTITY TOY CAR. NOW I HAVE SEEN IT ALL. JUNK HUNTER DONT PAY ME NO MIND, COOL FINDS.

Cool find on the jar and nice to see how the paper survived, well done on the large cent.

The variety of your 1822 LC is a Newcome-8.......Very Scarce. Pretty easy to figure out from the "CENT" on the reverse. This reverse was only used on Newcome 8 and 9. Congrats.........Hogge

The Time Capsule is really cool. The LC is sweet too. Very nice hunt!

That is just about the coolest thing! Every time I dig up a mason jar lid, and I have quite a few now, I keep hoping there is a little treasure jar attached to it, and that is just what you got! Sweet find. I am very happy you posted that, it will help me keep my hopes up with the jar lids in the future! lol WTG!
