Been awhile since I've found something worth taking a picture of. Today i pulled the oldest silver coin Ive managed to find, yet :).. 1824 George IV sixpence. This is my first silver coin of the year, and also my oldest silver coin yet. Managed a silver ring from a tot lot yesterday along with about $3 in clad.

The field where I pulled this had alot of Iron in it. Nails, chain link, couple of old horse shoes. Coin itself is in rough shape for being in the ground for 180 years. But Im thrilled to death to dig it up!

Sure is a long ways from home. I was in the area of a church and hear they are good luck to give to a bride.
