Me and Jason got out to a old homestead site. I drive past this corner woods site 2 times a day. So decided to check it out walk up to woods and seen a dirt driveway and was hoping wasn't picked over. First signal nice dandy button than i got a blast of a signal thought was a can. Put shovel in ground and without even digging i seen the nice cooper disk . much better shape than Pict's nice tan color 1827 large cent.

Funny you said that it was close to being surface find. I found a large cent also just an inche below the grass. and they said they have scanned this area for yrs. don't believe that crap, go and do you thing with your machine. You will indeed find some good old coins in the right place.
